The lines of text are on separate layers so that you can change the color and style to fit your needs. You can turn off the pink layer if you want to, but it will be hidden by the blue one anyway, so I don’t usually bother.

To use the blue background, simply turn on the blue background layer by clicking the empty box for the eye icon in the layers palette (See diagram below).
